Vaughn Paladin, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Vaughn gained extensive executive management and leadership experience working for Big 5 consulting firms before co-founding FocusFrame. Vaughn was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young (now CGEY), where he developed the West Coast CRM practice for the High Growth services group. Prior to CGEY, he worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a Senior Information Systems Consultant. His roles helped him gain extensive experience with multiple project management responsibilities in numerous industries including high technology, finance, and manufacturing. As a strong team leader, he led many full-scale CRM project teams that implemented Siebel, Baan Front Office, and Clarify CRM packages. He has extensive experience with application development and testing. Vaughn earned a BS and an MBA from Washington University and is originally from Washington State. Vaughn is responsible for the general management of the firm.
Suri Chawla, President, Co-Founder
Suri Chawla has over 18 years of experience in selling IT services and products in North America and Asia. He brings strong business development experience to the team gained from 4 years of experience as Director of Business Development at Mastek, a global software services company. For his last 5 years at Mastek, he was responsible for creating and building the CRM business in the U.S. and helped launch QA consulting services. Along with direct sales and business development experience, he managed alliances with CRM vendors and Big-5 system integrators. Previously, he headed the Mastek sales and support distribution of CA-Ingres RDBMS, ComShare EIS, and Mastek's ERP product MAMIS in Northern India for 7 years. Earlier, he was an Analyst/Project Manager, managing software application projects. He earned a graduate degree in Computer Science from University of Ottawa, Canada and is originally from India. Suri is in charge of the firm's Business Development activities.
Stephan Thomsen, Chief Operating Officer
Stephan has broad international experience managing the development and delivery of technology solutions for large and small companies in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, hardware, software, the internet, and manufacturing. Prior to joining FocusFrame, Stephan was Director of Partner Services for 2Roam, a developer of software for the wireless internet, where he established and managed the company's Professional Services, Customer Service, and Training Services teams. Stephan was also a Manager in Ernst & Young's High Growth Consulting practice where he led enterprise system implementations. His software package experience includes Siebel, Baan Front Office, Clarify CRM, and JD Edwards. Stephan grew up in Connecticut and has lived and worked in Sweden, Lithuania, Indonesia, and France. He holds a BA in Math and Computer Science from Colgate University and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Stephan is responsible for Operations and our Near Shore business.
Albert Visser, Vice President, Europe
Albert is a native of the Netherlands and is based in Amsterdam. He has extensive experience in ICT-management for large industrial companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries and large financial institutions. Albert co-founded Business Optimizing Associates, a technology firm that introduced methodologies for IT-system integration. Previous to his work at FocusFrame, he worked for KPMG as an associate business partner for business development and leading technology implementations for financial institutions. Albert has a business degree in Bedrijfskunde and earned his MBA degree from the Universities of Rochester (NY) and Erasmus (Rotterdam). Albert is responsible for FocusFrame's European operations.
